About Mobilap
Mobilap is market-leader in rockermachines for speed skates. By the revolutionary design an accurate, compact and light weight machine was developed to help amateur and professional skaters perform on their best!
Designed for shorttrack, longtrack and swedisch skates
The Mobilap Pro handles shorttrack as well as longtrack speed skates with a maximum sharpening length of up to 444 mm! There are no restrictions to blade-length and shoe-size. A special model is available for swedish speed skates ("zweedse klunschaatsen").
Developed with top level skaters
The machines were developed in close co-operation with elite level skaters and nowadays almost all World Cup teams, including the ones from Italy, the Netherlands, Canada, Finland, Germany and Norway use the Mobilap machine to grind their skates. In addition, since 2006, the Organising Committee of the Olympic Winter Games bought and used the Mobilap during these Events.

Main features
High accuracy
The design of the machine ensures great accuracy and all machines are equipped with a duo precision template. Due to the small distance between the skate and the template the radius-profile in the template is copied very accurately to the blade.
Minimum loss of blade material
Much attention was paid to the clamping unit and the positioning of the skate with respect to the template. The result is a minimum loss of material. Because of this, the skates can be grinded frequently and you can always skate on the best rocker.
Easy to use & robust performance
The rockermachine is easy to use and delivers a constant top-level performance. Rockering with the Mobilap is easier than sharpening your blades!
Portable
Rocker your skates at home, on a trainings camp, in your club house, near a frozen lake, or at international events. You can take the compact and leight weight machine with you to any location with a table and electricity!

Base-unit for Swedisch skates

Mobilap delivers mono and duo-templates. A duo-template is a template with two rockers, one on each side.

Compound templates
We have developed templates with variable radius, that are already used by many elite speed skaters in shorttrack and longtrack. A graph of the available standard compound raddi is available here.
Custom template
Some templates are available as a standard, but it is also possible to order your custom template. Up to 40 different radii along the blade can be grinded in your skates. Off course, your privacy will be respected appropriately.
